Bout of Books 10.0 | Daily Updates

Hi Guys,
Another round of bout of books has started, and I'm really excited to be taking part. Especially since this time round, I'm one of the experts of bout of books.
This post will be where I update my daily progress, about how many pages I've read, how many books I've completed on that day, and what I've been reading.
Feel free to post a comment to your own post/video, as I'd love to see what you've been reading. And don't forget to use the #boutofbooks, if you're on twitter.
If you want to check out my TBR and Goals for the read-a-thon, you can see those here.

Thoughts

Though I didn't manage to finish a book today (probably because I was flitting between 4, and had a lot of time spent not reading). I am really pleased with my progress, and I'm still having a lot of fun with it. Tomorrow I'm busy with my sister's wedding rehearsal, so I'm not sure how much I'll get done, but hopefully I'll manage to finish at least one of the books I have on the go.

Thoughts

I didn't get a lot of reading done today, but I knew I wouldn't because of my sister's wedding rehearsal. I am actually pretty pleased with what I did get done. I was aiming for 100, and that's what I got, so I'm pleased. I should have more time to read for the rest of the read-a-thon.

Thoughts

I wasn't feeling well today, so I'm actually really pleased with the amount of reading I got done, because I spent a lot of time asleep. Tomorrow I should have another pretty good day for reading, provided I'm not feeling even more unwell. So I'm hoping to finish at least one more book tomorrow.

Thoughts

I'm so happy with how today went. I had a slow start, reading only around 30 pages this morning, and then fell asleep for a couple of hours, but after I woke up, I did the twitter chat and that remotivated me, and I got a bunch more reading done.
I'm excited for the final day tomorrow, but I'm also wishing it wasn't ending so soon. This week has gone really fast.

Thoughts

Unfortunately by last day of bout of books didn't turn out well. I've been feeling really unwell so barely read anything. Just 40 pages, and I had hoped for at least 100. Still, I had great fun through the entire week, and i got more done than I ever expected to, so I'm thrilled with that. It's really given a boost to my monthy reading, and my goodreads challenege for the year.
A huge thank you to the hosts of bout of books, this was another great event, and I look forward to the next one.

  1. Wow, terrific start! I had some unexpected family stuff come up yesterday, and I ended up not even opening a book sigh.... Not a great start to the readathon, but today should be better!

  4. Sounds like you're doing great! It's definitely hard to fit in a ton of reading when wedding week events are going on.

    1. Thanks.
I'm pretty sure that yesterday will be my worst reading day. I should have more spare time for the rest of the week.
