Book Review | #Famous by Jilly Gagnon

In this modern-day love story, Girl likes Boy, Girl takes photo of Boy and posts it online, Boy becomes accidentally insta-famous. And what starts out as an innocent joke spirals into a whirlwind adventure that could change both their lives—and their hearts—forever. But are fame and love worth the price?

Told in alternating points of view, #famous captures the out-of-control thrill ride of falling for someone in front of everyone.

Review
#Famous was a completely random find for me. I was browsing Audible, with a few credits on my account, not really knowing what I wanted, but knowing I wanted to find a new listen. Usually, I tend to lean towards memoirs and biography's when I'm on Audible (I don't know why as when I'm reading I lead towards YA and Historical). Yet as I was browsing I saw this book.
I'd never heard of it before, but the cover and title looked like a cute, fun, YA read, so I was intrigued.
The premise had me even more intrigued, so I had to put it in my basket.
I almost immediately started listening and I was not disappointed. #Famous is exactly what it looks like. It's a fun, cute, YA read. It was funny and I loved the characters and the dynamics between them. I'd consider this a perfect summer read, when you want something light but also really well written with a great story attached. I'd definitely recommend this one.
