This book is unique. There's this great cast of characters, who are larger than life, and that helps to pull you into the story. There was a lot going on in this book, and there was a lot of emotion. I liked the sort of jumpy narrative, switching around between people and times. It's definitely a book that has you rooting for its characters.
I enjoyed his fun, unique read a lot.
In parts, I did find it a little slower and sometimes hard to follow. Those are the only reasons it got marked down. Probably on a second read, I'd get more out of it.
Overall, though, this was a really good read and I would definitely recommend it.
